I used to dine there frequently before the... read more This is one of the best Sichuan restaurants in downtown. You get a lot of excellent food at a very reasonable price. I used to dine there frequently before the pandemic and recently decided to try their takeout at home. It was delicious, and the portion sizes were just as generous as I remembered. I highly recommend their soup series, particularly the pickled basa in soup. The beef and ox tripe in chili sauce, as well as the green pepper fried pork intestine, are also essential orders every time we visit.

I really enjoy the food, but the service leaves something to be desired. You often have to wave several times to get their attention, as they seem to just chat in front of the kitchen. A nice bonus: they offer a 5% discount for cash payment.

Was not disappointed-pork was chewy and flavourful, and the hot peppers literally killed me in a good way. Also had the squid and garlic sprouts (needed more salt). Finally, tried thepickled basa soup which was my least favorite. The broth was straight up just sour and impossible to consume as a main dish. Thepro is that the soup portion is massive; someone I know once took their soup to go and it lasted them 5 days..

She wouldn?t let us sit on the booth after asking for multiple times with a claim that they were in busy hour with attitude. However, the booth was empty the whole time while we wereeating.The food was ok but the service was so bad. You definitely don?t want to be treated like this especially for yourbirthday. Not recommend.
