What User doesn't like about Gyubee Japanese Grill (bloor):
We visited this restaurant a few weeks ago to celebrate my friend's birthday. It’s a fun spot, especially with a small group. Be prepared to be patient as you cook your own food. While I’m not usually a fan of this type of dining experience, I found this restaurant to be quite good overall. There was a slight misunderstanding with the waitstaff, but they were very friendly. I really appreciate the fast service, and the overall food quality is quite good. The kimchi, bibimbap, and meat options are fairly standard. However, I believe there are a few other restaurants in Toronto that offer better quality meat at a similar price.

This is an excellent spot for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ! I highly recommend it, but be sure to snag a seat if you can. All the meats are delicious, and the side dishes are fantastic as well—especially the cold tofu.
It's pricey, but totally worthwhile! Expect to wait if you're dining here for dinner, so make sure to join the Yelp waitlist to save some time. The variety of meats is absolutely incredible. I appreciate that they slice the meat thin, which helps it cook more quickly. The cold noodles and bibimbap are also quite good. For dessert, be sure to try the crème brûlée and melona (either coconut or mango).
