Flock - Toronto

Came to the Richmond St. Location for lunch one day as I wanted to try something new. Ordered the only chicken sandwich they had on the menu and a side of sweet potatoes (thought they would be fries but they weren’t) Ended up paying over $15. The sandwich itself was good. I didn’t need to get the side as the sandwich was pretty filling, but I wanted to try the sweet potatoes. They were just meh- and I needed a fork to eat them (one wasn’t provided so I walked all the way back to work with no fork). Not sure if I would return when I can get a quarter chicken meal from Swiss Chalet for like $12.

Soup is good, chicken either in a bun or with salad is tasty, solid sauces. Quick and easy, helpful and polite staff.

Chicken is super salty (Brined) but juicy and heavily seasoned. Salad is good, but small as well as the sweet potato side. Good but small. For four, the sides were very small.

I love this place more than words can say, if I lived in the city I would try to live near here so I could eat here all the time. The prices were great and the meal was everything I was looking for. It was healthy, hearty, allergy aware, it looked good and it's something I don't think I could just make at home. Looking for healthy options that taste good and have the proper makeup of a meal while you're on the go is really hard to find but this place nailed it! Ontop of the good food the guy who served us was one of the nicest servers I'd run into in Toronto. The short time spent with him made me feel like he was about to be my new best friend and I'm not a fan of chatty servers but this guy had it figured out. I asked him what he recommended and it as as though he'd known me my whole life, the dishes he told me and my friend to get were exactly what each of us wanted. Then, there was the space, it was clean, open, modern and comfortable. They were playing great music and I just can't say enough good about it.Don't go anywhere else when you're in the area, go here, forget the other places this place is the best and you need to eat here. I actually texted my mom and said "yo mom you should come here and eat" and then she went to Toronto and said "this place was great thanks for telling me about it, the music sounds like your car". I'm just really passionate about affordable, healthy and delicious food.

If this place gave clearer instruction on the menu it would be perfect! Good quality, healthy take away in the city! Excellent chicken! Give it a go!
