What User likes about Fat City Blues:
Had fun at this great little New Orleans bar. Friendly staff. Awesome band - Fraser Melvin blues band on a sunday night . They look so young but sound so tight and smooth. Check them out. UNfortunately we had just eaten elsewhere so didn't get to try the food but the menu looked interesting with some New Orleans dishes . View all feedback.

read moreFat City Blues offers a disappointing experience for seasoned blues fans, lacking a genuine bluesy atmosphere. However, younger bands like the Fraser Melvin Blues Band bring vibrancy to the stage. The venue can be crowded, but the friendly staff and Louisiana-style dishes add to the NOLA-like ambiance. The menu may be limited, but the food impresses, especially the fried chicken, ocra, and cornbread. Great for a night out with excellent live music and a Hurricane cocktail. Though small and often busy, Fat City Blues is recommended for a fun and lively vibe.
