Flets Pastries in the beach has to my favourite place for lunch. The perfect place to meet friends for lunch a light evening meal! Within walking distance to the Beach boardwalk. I meet a friend there and we choose the grilled panini filled with brie cheese, Granny Smith apple and tomato. The panini was perfectly toasted and soft meeting the cheese, apple and tomato, it was a little heaven in my mouth. To wash it down we had the cappuccino and finished of course (with a dessert how could you not.) My friend had the artisan beautifully designed mocha meringue, with individual sections of deliciousness. It was so beautiful, and it melted in her mouth. I had the apple crumble cake, the base was warm, and housed the apple crumble perfectly hitting the palate just nicely against the melting caramel ribbons on the top. Of course, we can back for more coffee! The ambience is wonderful, spotless, mouthwatering display cases, take you back to the cafe with seating areas. Friendly staff bring you your items. Gluten free options too. Highly recommended. Drop in or order over the phone for that special time together!

We strolled by a couple of times and we regret it so much now that we have tasted Dufflet Cakes. The cheesecakes are stunning and all the other cakes are definitely worth trying. In addition they just released their Holidays Menu. DELICIOUS!

I ordered the a birthday cake which was Devils Food rectangular cake with two layers, filled with a raspberry and mocha fondant, wrapped in this delicious cake was a raspberry icing with topped with the inscription and chocolate leaves. The chocolate cake was rich dancing on my palate in delight, with the playful fondants adding lovely flavor notes. Renowned with a reputation for their outstanding professional quality, presentation and I wanted a cake that was not too sweet. All the elements came together and my birthday cake was the best I have ever had.For lunch I choose the Grilled Panini with Brie and Ham. My palate descended into a mouth watering grilled to perfection bread into the layer of melted cheese and ham. The lovely Dijon mustard lifted and complemented the flavors nicely. Following that I just had to try the Rocky Road cake and a Café Au Lait. It is just as well, I didn’t have breakfast at home...saving enough room for the Dufflet delights.Whether you are visiting for morning or afternoon coffee, lunch or ordering for that special family event come to any Dufflets Pastries will delight you in every way. They have three easily locations to get to in Toronto. My rating is 10. Highly recommended and I can’t wait to come back and have more delights!
I stopped by for tea and desserts at a cozy tea shop on the Danforth with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I chose the coconut oolong tea, which had a delightful aroma.
