Doo Roo Ae is conveniently situated just across from the P.A.T. mart in Christie. This restaurant is famous for its 갈비탕 (short rib soup), and it truly lives up to the hype. They add an abundance of ingredients that enhance the flavors of the galbi tang, including onions, enoki mushrooms, peppers, and probably garlic as well. It’s one of the few places that really has this dish perfected! I typically lean towards dishes with more meat, like kamjatang (pork bone soup), but this galbi tang made me fall in love with it all over again.

This restaurant has been open for about three weeks, and this was my first visit. I came with a friend, and we found the food to be both tasty and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place to all food lovers looking for something new. I just wish I had taken more pictures of everything I ordered – we enjoyed it all and left nothing but empty plates!
