Prices will really appeal to those on a budget, as well as those like me who can't stop at just one sandwich. The steak sandwich in particular is a real standout - a generous helping of thinly-sliced inside round topped with sautéed onions, homemade tomato sauce, and (if you like) a load of roasted jalapeno peppers. Other, lesser sandwich purveyors claim to be The Best, but they're just making up sandwich stories. This place is the Real Deal.The pizza is also very good, and also not overpriced like at least one newer GTA chain that pretends to be "high end" by overcharging and tricking customers with the old "less is more" routine. Don Franchesko's doesn't play that "gourmet pizza" game - they understand exactly what pizza is, and they serve it up accordingly. How about a 28 slice cheese & sauce rectangular pie for $10.99? That's what the sign says, pal, and that's what the sign means.Please do yourself a big sandwich favour and take a good look at the many sandwich photos I've added to this review. Don't they look delicious? Don't you wish you were gobbling one down right now? I know I do. Oh, and it looks like I've used the word "sandwich" a total of ten times in this short review, so if you haven't tried this place yet, or somehow aren't planning to, I have to ask, "What part of SANDWICH do you not understand??"

Do Not Ask Them Why They Have an Upside-Down Menu!Haha I love that sign.I come here when i'm very very hungry cause they give big portions. The steak and veal sandwiches are awesome. The pizza is pretty good too, i haven't tried their pasta but I want to next time.It's got a nice manly feel to it with the model posters on the wall and the Cruisin World arcade is a very nice touch. I play it while I wait for my food. Great service, and a lot of my friends come here too.
