What Mathilde Feeney doesn't like about Cora Breakfast & Lunch:
Came here for breakfast on a work layover and I was happy to see they offered a glutenfree meal. My friend had pancakes with strawberries. The food was plenty and seemed fresh. Unfortunately, they did not offer a vegan milk option for their coffee and tea selection. This was definitely a bummer. The waiters were very friendly and the food didn't take long. I'm regularly in Cora at College Station. I've been there for four years. The manager is a beautiful lady and always welcoming. The people who work are great and beautiful. It's a place for my wife for breakfast. The French toast is just so delicious along with the pancakes. The crispy potatoes are great. Great place for breakfast.
I love this place. Beautiful selection of breakfast material. I like it because everything comes with fruit. Good quality food in general. Good service. Good value.
This is a really good place to start your day when you are a tourist. You can get a wide selection of breakfast here, which also range from small to really big and heavy. The big ones are really good if you will be on the go all day when you are sightseeing. So breakfast stopped us at lunchtime, so we had more time to visit different things in or around the city. And given the amount you get and the price you pay the food is good. Last but not least they have plenty of space, so don't feel weird with all your jackets, bags and backpacks when you leave for your little adventure this day.
UPDATE: January/2019. Watch your big burger with soup or salad for lunch. A large filler for a good price. Come with fresh salad, tomatoes onions. UPDATE: August/2018. Breakfast for two and my friend ordered the Western Skillet. I hadn't tried, so naturally I had to try... and glad I did. This court is amazing. You get taste to taste. I had it with a soft egg, but this is of course your choice. If a restaurant with a Quebec pedigree, with its crepes, you can expect something better than a gummy piece of Lord knows what. Yes fresh fruit but something like that! And the Cretons are a thing of the past. On the other hand, the restaurant is a bright open space (too bright in the morning AM) with many seating, clean ground, a fully accessible street level entrance, an open kitchen and friendly, expediently staff, all with human memories. Delicious potatoes and coffee. Even the disintegration cannot be failed. Try the mild tasting Cholula hot sauce. Absolutely delicious and well balanced. Perfect little kick for breakfast. Large groups can be easily accommodated, but a heads-up call would be appreciated and reservations are possible. No WIFI.
Good standard Cora food. Portions are large and there is always fruit. The food is always good. One of my favourite all day breakfast places. The service can be a little slower but it's not slow. There can be a lineup to pay.
