Had an incredible experience at constantine. I have a dinner reservation and the service from the beginning was impeccable. our server was a highlight, very helpful and knowledgeable for the dishes. highly recommended the $75/person cooking menu, 4 courses(Loans for 2 people: starter course (2 dishes, pasta curs (1 court, main dish (2 protein dishes with 2 veggie dishes, desert course (1 court).) that was more than enough for 2 people. definitiw one of my favorite dinner experiences in a long time, all dishes tasting great, but the huh with Saffron sauce definitely the ramp light. will return very soon (with more people!
Discovered this restaurant on a whim and it turned out to be such a great experience! We had such great service, everything from the server being so quick on his feet to the chef giving us a small snack to nibble on until our food was ready, they were all such nice touches and seriously impressive. We tried a variety of different things and everything was absolutely delicious! The house made hummus and beef kofta flatbread was a great starter with lots of flavour. Also the main dishes were amazing — grilled chicken was so good (I would get that again next time) as well the special of the day which was the sea bream was fantastic. The radicchio salad and Brussels sprouts were fantastic!! Price range for the menu was very fair for the quality of the food and the portions were big. It was completely beyond our expectations and would definitely go back!!
Great service and fantastic food full of flavour. Highly recommend for a great diner downtown.
The service was excellent and eating was amazing. often have hotel restaurants decent eating, but constantine was surprisingly delicious with a great ambiente. we had a sommelier help to get a phenomenal wein that complicated our eating!
The food is quite good and offers a variety of options suitable for those with food sensitivities. The wine selection is enjoyable and reasonably priced. The location is excellent for those heading to the CAA Mirvish Theatre. The restaurant is clean, beautifully designed, and well-decorated, making it a delightful stop when you're in the area.
At Constantine, patrons experience a vibrant New York-style ambiance complemented by inventive cuisine and attentive service. While some diners have encountered inconsistent service and minor issues with dish seasoning, many highlight the restaurant's creative offerings, particularly its chef's choice menu, which allows for a delightful journey through an array of flavors. Desserts often steal the spotlight, leaving diners eager for a return visit. Though priced on the higher end, the quality ingredients and stylish atmosphere make it a popular choice for special occasions, including theater nights and celebrations, solidifying its reputation as a top dining destination in Yorkville.

A wonderful hidden gem. Even though the patio looks nice in the summer, the inside has such a lovely ambience. One might even call it a posh cave! The food was delicious specifically can recommend the Muhammara, Moroccan carrots, and any of the duckspecialties. The vegetables dishes were a pleasant surprise you wouldn't usually expect that category to be so good. Also, not enough vases.
Loved the atmosphere, ambience and service. I ordered the hummus platter with pita and the half chicken. I wouldve loved for the chicken to come with veggies or other sides but still tasted great as a stand alone.
Came here for date night/ my birthday, and tried the chef’s choice. Definitely worth it if you wanted to try an assortment on the menu, leaves the guess work out, and you get a great variety. We ended up getting things that we wanted to try initially soit worked. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was amazing, full of flavour, and the portions were sizedin a way we both left stuffed! The style was tapas but not super small. You definitely get your moneys worth. Tried both thewine and specialty cocktails, including the mocktails and they were very delicious. Would recommend if you want to treatyourself.

Went here with friends as we visit Toronto first time since the pandemic. Love how they did to this old hotel building. We used to live around this neighbourhood 10 years ago. Lots has changed most for the better! Back to the restaurant: we ordered someappetizers (hummus and flat bread) which were surprisingly delicious. You can tell the bread was freshly baked and superdelicious. For main course, I ordered the steak ???? with grilled carrots on the side. Meat was well prepared decorated withsome yogurt which gives a bit acidic taste. We finished the meal with a dark chocolate cream. A bit on the heavy side but goodnevertheless. Overall great place. The service could be faster.

Delicious food! Ok service.. they had an event happening in another room so our area was extremely loud but other than that it was lovely! I imagine the servers were busier than normal due to that as well!
The temperature is perfect, the decor is lovely, and it's a quiet place to have a conversation.
We tried the summerlicious menu which was inventive and good value. The turbot was perfectly cooked (though maybe a touch over-salted) and the chermoula and red currant garnishes were expertly done. The pork chop had excellent flavour and the fennel salad was a masterclass in balance. I prefer my pork slightly less done but it was still a great dish. The appetizers while both well-composed were missing a bit of balance. The falafel could have used a bit more acid or sauce to brighten the rest of the plate and balance out the dryness. The heirloom tomato salad with missing a bit of salt on the tomatoes but the vinaigrette and the microgreens helped bring the flavours together--perhaps if the tomatoes were marinated in that vinaigrette before plating it would amp up the dish. The desserts were both excellent. I thought the whipped mascarpone and honeycomb was a particular standout. Overall, Constantine still shines are one of the best spots in Yorkville. Worth a visit (and many returns).

The restaurant has a trendy New York ambiance. It feels a bit strange to walk past the oddly positioned hotel reception to reach the dining area, but the food is impressively creative. It's on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. The service is excellent, and it's conveniently located near the theater. I've dined there multiple times.
The restaurant had a pleasant interior, with comfortable seating and lovely decor. The food was average. I ordered a three-course dinner and began with soup, which was tasty but unfortunately served lukewarm. I'm surprised they didn’t check to ensure it was hot. The rest of the meal was fine, and my main course was served hot. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I’m uncertain if I would return.
We visited the restaurant for a pre-theater dinner during Winterlicious before attending a production of Uncle Vanya at the CAA Mirvish Theatre. We started with perfectly fried artichokes accompanied by avocado aioli, followed by sable fish (also known as butterfish or black cod) served with mussels on a flavorful bed of tomato and fennel broth. For dessert, we indulged in either a delightful layered banana pudding or apple baklava. The service was prompt and professional, accommodating our theater schedule and allowing us to fully savor each delicious course.
Excellent location and value for money. Food and drinks were tasty! Dining room tables were nicely spread out and it was easy to carry a conversation without the ambiant noise being load from neighbouring tables. Highly recommend.

Food was amazing, however there were flies around us at first but the waiter helped us move to another table Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
A fantastic meal experience at Constantine restaurant. We were residents at The Anndore House Hotel, and this restaurant got good reviews, so I thought we'd give it a try. I am so glad that we did. My wife and I started with some Za'atar Chips and Olives to share. Then I had Gnocchi pasta with N'duja sausage for main course, and my wife had the Calabrese pizza. Both dishes were excellent very tasty and very enjoyable. For dessert, I had the baklava, and my wife had the Basque cheesecake. These were both two of the finest desserts we've ever had. And I don't say that lightly. Absolutely amazing. The service was friendly and nicely paced for the meal, and the final bill was also reasonable. I asked our waiter to pass on my appreciation and thanks to the Chef and the kitchen staff for a genuinely great meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.
