Went to Completo with a friend of mine while visiting Toronto. I ordered the pork tacos and he had the beef tacos. We ended up trading one for one as well. Both were delicious! The meat was tender and flavourful, the toppings were fresh and the guac was unbelievably good. I had lunch at Completo yesterday and was very disappointed. We ordered a loaded grilled cheese and a steak and fries box, which totaled $22.04. The fries seemed to be either overcooked or stale from the night before and they were so hard that we couldn't even chew them! We ordered a steak box and steak tacos, and both items were delicious!
I am extremely puzzled by their version of a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread consisted of two bottom halves of buns, with only one side of the bun having any cheese or condiments. It felt like I was eating a squished bun.
We had an amazing time, I especially liked the ambience and the unique combinations.
Great spot for a quick bite. The grilled cheese sandwich is amazing the chips and avocado was so fresh (made to order) beautiful outdoor seating area under a big tree shadow
Stear clear of the hot dog. It slips out of the bun with all the toppings but it that being said the toppings were fresh and very good.
