What Anonym dislikes about Citrus:
We have enjoyed many drinks , snacks and meals in this restaurant. After learning that policy has changed regarding including breakfast in a stay at this hotel, we are reconsidering other hotels. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. View all feedback.
My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant every Valentine's Day for the past 10 years. Getting a reservation is never a problem, as it is located in the Grand Hotel in downtown Toronto and is open 365 days a year. The prices are reasonable and the service is always impeccable, quick, and efficient. The restaurant used to have a beautiful Victorian-style interior, but it was renovated into a more modern version about 5 years ago. It is perfect for a quiet and romantic dinner, and during the summer, the patio is also open for dining. You can choose to sit in the bar area with low tables and couches, or in the regular setting with white tablecloths. The menu doesn't change too much, but we have enjoyed dishes such as rabbit soup, lamb, beef dumplings, samosas, mussels, and mango Pavlova over the years. I can't list all the mouthwatering dishes we have tried, but the pictures will speak for themselves. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dining experience.
I stopped by this restaurant for lunch before my massage exams at the hotel. I was there from noon until around 2pm, and it was quite peaceful and a great place to study. As the afternoon went on, it got busier. I ordered a diet coke for $4, a chicken club for $16, and a latte for $6. In total, my bill came to about $35. The food was scrumptious and seemed to be very freshly made. I would definitely dine here again. My server, Nicole, was extremely courteous and attentive.
Today, I am reviewing Citrus, a restaurant located in The Grand Hotel and Suites in Toronto, Ontario. I have reviewed many restaurants, but I have never given such high praise as I do to Citrus and The Grand Hotel and Suites in Toronto. As someone with major food allergies, I have never had any issues here. The staff are caring, attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The food is always fresh, nicely presented, and full of flavor with great attention to detail. I highly recommend booking directly through the restaurant and hotel for a truly exceptional experience. I especially suggest trying the Sunday morning breakfast at Citrus, where you can enjoy the lovely garden seating.
Food and drinks and service was perfect! The beef ribeye was on point! The culinary display and feel in the restaurant is worth the price. Come here if you want to have a treat your self night out : !
