We ordered a bottle of wine, and the server brought over one that appeared to have endured a minor crisis—the seal was cracked, and it was strangely... not full? As if it had enjoyed a little pre-game session without us. Then, our empty wine glasses were whisked away like magic, despite the fact that we still had wine left in the bottle. We had to request more glasses, which felt a bit like we were intruding on their relaxed afternoon. Was the server rude? Not at all. Was he helpful? Unfortunately, not really. The overall vibe seemed to be, “I’m not upset you’re here; I’m just surprised you expect service.” Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5.

The p... read more I visited Cherry's High Dive for the first time after a friend's recommendation. The atmosphere is great, capturing the essence of a classic downtown pub. The pepperoni and barbecue chicken pizzas, as well as the Cajun fries and calamari, were enjoyable, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by our waitress. She frequently forgot our order, spilled beer on several plates and on us, and took an unnecessarily long time to bring the bill. I would consider returning, but I hope to have a different waitress next time. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
