Big Smoke Burger - Toronto

The restaurant is situated in Sherway Gardens Mall on the food court level. I ordered the large Signature Smokeburger with a veggie patty, a side of onion rings, and a refreshing orange soda. The burger was grilled to perfection and paired perfectly with my order of fries and drink. They also offer a halal chicken patty option for those with dietary restrictions.

This restaurant is considered one of the top 100 burger joints in Toronto and it certainly lived up to the hype. For an extra $3.99, you can add a drink and a side salad of mixed greens. I highly recommend trying the Big Smokeburger - the patty is juicy and pairs perfectly with the horseradish sauce. My only criticism is that the bun was a bit too thick, which took away from the flavors of the patty and other toppings. Overall, a great burger experience.

DISCLAIMER: I visited this restaurant this afternoon and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. When I opened the burger, I found a long hair in it. I brought it to the attention of the server, who proceeded to argue with me, suggesting that the hair could have come from anyone sitting nearby in the shopping center. When I requested to speak to a manager, the server rudely informed me that he was the manager and asked what I wanted to do. Without another word, he dismissed me, telling me to take my money back and leave. It would have been better if he had simply apologized and offered a more satisfactory solution. I hope @bigsmokeburger hires better-trained employees or provides them with proper training before putting them on the floor to interact with customers.

Not sure why the reviews are so less. I tried the Grill Chickenburger and it was really delicious and light. I tried many burgers in Toronto, but this was the best. They grill the burgers and not fry that definitely feels lighter on the stomach. The toppings are perfect! I would definitely go back!
