Description

Basil Box offers a customizable dining experience that combines the fast-casual model of places like Subway with vibrant Thai flavors. Guests can select their preferred bases, proteins, and sauces for a bespoke meal, with a strong emphasis on vegetarian and vegan options. While the food quality generally impresses—with dishes such as coconut curry and vegan noodles receiving praise—some patrons have reported inconsistencies, including issues with undercooked ingredients. The ambiance is welcoming, and service is typically attentive, although some feel prices can be steep. Overall, it’s a fresh and flavorful spot worth exploring for Thai cuisine enthusiasts.

Delicious zesty steak bowl!! This was actually so good. My mom had the coconut shrimp bao... Also amazing. The buns were so tender

Basil Box is great for a number of reasons. The portions are decent for the price, and my bodybuilding friends say the bowls are good for protein! I love the customizability and the consistency in taste from this spot. There's also a bubble tea here that isn't half bad. Great lunch spot, and for small stomachs like mine, a box can be both lunch and dinner : Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Similar to Subway or Chipotle, but with a Thai twist. You choose your ingredients as you go to customize your meal. Fast service and decent quality. Limited vegan options. Next time, I would request additional sauce for my order.

I really like their tofu, it’s always delicious. As a veggie person, it’s really nice. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I loved how easy it was to eat vegan here. I enjoyed my meal and my non-veg friends (who ordered meat, but would not have chosen a “heathy” place on their own) seemed to enjoy theirs too! We were on a short trip to Toronto, but if I ever go back I’ll be eating here again.
