Vegan options are limited but flavorful, with the lemongrass tofu being a standout choice. The Panko tofu Bao and Tofu Railway Mi Sandwich are also recommended. The menu is budget-friendly, and the staff is accommodating. The restaurant can get busy during peak hours, but the food is worth the wait. With a diverse menu that includes banh mi and poutine, this spot is a great choice for those looking for unique and tasty street eats. Highly recommended for a satisfying and flavorful dining experience.
The street food at this restaurant is expertly prepared and fresh, with very accommodating staff (they always give me extra vegetables). Although the vegan choices are limited to the lemongrass tofu without mayo, you really only need one because it is so flavorful.
I thoroughly enjoyed the bao at this restaurant. The tofu was tender and the dish was simple yet delicious, making it an ideal choice for a light meal to hold us over between lunch and dinner.
It’s like guilty pleasure street food that doesn’t leave you feeling [censored]. I had two tofu steam baos and it was delicious. Also got the jicama slaw. Filling enough but I was definitely hungry for supper. Next time I might treat myself and try the tofu fries...
The Bahn mi rolls are made with butter, and the kimchi contains fish, giving you a few different choices to consider.
The Panko tofu Bao and the Tofu Bahn Mi sandwich are awesome. There can be a good half hour wait at lunch due to the line up but it's worth it if you haven't been.
