Nestled in the heart of St. Clair West, Aviv is a delightful restaurant offering Mediterranean-inspired dishes alongside North American classics. Guests appreciate the warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service. Standout dishes include the Beef Brisket Hash and Cubana Eggs Benny, both generously portioned and flavorful. While some diners found certain items less impressive—like the calamari and biscuit density—many rave about the relaxed vibe and quality ingredients. Perfect for families or casual gatherings, Aviv guarantees a memorable dining experience with its charming decor, delicious food, and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a cozy brunch or lunch.

First of all the service is great as Rob is very friendly and accommodating. I miss the old wynn salad with feta, grilled balsamic chicken, avocado, cranberries and mixed greens. But my favourite dishes have to be the Short rib pizza and the gnocchi. The Eggs Benedict for brunch are also delicious. Very cozy place to have some food and drinks with family or friends. What Enid Rau dislikes about Aviv Immigrant Kitchen:
We went for lunch to Aviv and had a nice time. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant has a nice vibe. The food is ok. The baba ganoush is delicious, but the calamari coat would just fall off the calamari which was not great, and the chicken kebab was ok. Overall a nice place, and the location is great. Had a fantastic time at Aviv for my wedding anniversary. The service was excellent, very friendly and enjoyable. Robert is amazing and gives great attention to all customers. They have a wonderful wine selection and serve the best Caesar salads in the city. I found the prices to be very reasonable and well worth it.
I reunited with some long-lost friends at Aviv for the second stop on my Winterlicious dining spree. The restaurant was bustling with activity, but we were promptly seated by the owner who was multitasking like a pro. Despite a brief wait, he apologized and showed a great sense of humor. We felt welcomed and already enjoyed his company.
We decided to stick with the regular menu except for trying the $5 Caesar on the specials menu. Despite the restaurant's Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, about half of the brunch menu consisted of typical North American dishes. My dining companion chose the Beef Brisket Hash, which was a generous portion served in a casserole dish. It featured braised beef brisket sautéed with baby spinach, caramelized onion, aged cheddar, and topped with two fried eggs, sunny side up. The dish had a nice blend of flavors. I opted for the Cubana Eggs Benny, which included braised pulled pork on house-made sweet potato biscuits, two poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce, and home fries. The pulled pork and home fries were delicious, but I found the biscuits to be a bit too thick and dense for eggs Benedict. It was a bit challenging to cut through with the soft egg, but the dish still tasted good overall.
Amazing food and atmosphere. All dishes were prepared with love and care with best ingredients. all were rightly portioned and tasting great. All staff were friendly and makes you feel like you are invited to a family dinner rather than being a customer. We’ll definitely come back again!
