If you're looking for a real Jamaican spot with jerk chicken that isn't too spicy this is the place. The heat level was mild, and the flavours were amazing. The patties here are nice and moist. The customer service could be faster.
Albert’s is apparently at a new nicer location. The restaurant looks as though it used to be an old school diner with a touchup. The place has plaques and awards from all over the city for its jerk chicken. They have a wide variety of items, but all with your Jamaican favorites like jerk chicken, oxtail, and patties.
I refuse to eat roti or any other jamaican food from anywhere but Alberts! everything on the menu is yummy and the prices are beyond fair!
I dont know why this place was rated so highly, it's mediocre Jamaican food at best. The rice and peas were ok, the coleslaw was too sweet and the chicken was meh. There's definitely better out there than this
Fantastic rotis (big portions too). I wasn 't as crazy about their homemade ginger beer, too 'gingery ' (but it 's really cool that they brew their own).
