I've had butter chicken all over the city of Toronto and surrounding areas and Agra has everyone beat. The sauce is lovely, thick and creamy and almost a bit sweet. My friends say they would drink it with a straw it is so good. Not at all salty, tomatoey or too spicy like it is some places. We also love their aloo gobi and lentil dishes. The mango lassi is also very good here, not painfully sweet like it is some rest... View all feedback.
What Ruthie Kutch doesn't like about Agra Fine Indian Cuisine:
I had a bad experience when ordering takeout from this restaurant. It happened a while ago but I felt the need to share it on Yelp, as it was originally posted on Zomato. View all feedback.
We went in on a Thursday night and were the only group in the restaurant. I have been a few times and was never disappointed in the food, and this time was no different. I always have butter chicken as it is my favorite, but a few friends tried the lamb biryani and they loved it. I've always found the naan bread to be great here. Our waiter was very pleasant and checked on us regularly. I give this place a solid 4 stars and will continue to visit when in the neighborhood.
Great tasting food. Buffet available or à la cart available. Reasonable prices and great selection of menu items. Used to be wayyy better but it looked like they had a new manager and it wasn't as good as previous visits. I've visited over a dozen times because of how delicious the food is. The portion sizes are perfect as well. Great to share amongst friends or family.
Came here for a lunch reservation; pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Our group of six opted for the buffet, which was a nice mixture of different types of Indian food.Amazing eggplants, butter chicken, tandoori chicken and paneer. Need a bit more work on the naan

I advise no one to order from here, the food is sub par and the service is Atrocious! I ordered the Fish and shrimp Vindaloo and was delivered only 4 pieces of shrimp, no fish and two potatoes. When I called to ask where is the fish and why only 4 pieces of shrimp, the manager said I should get 12 pieces of shrimp. I told him I did not receive any fish and he had no explanation. He refused to refund me or deliver fish vindaloo as promised by the menu. He instead, blamed uber eats and hung up abruptly after I asked him his name.
