Went for Sunday brunch and had a lovely time. I had been there for dinner years prior to my recent visit but at that time i wasn't very impressed so I never bothered despite living so close. However the brunch turned out tasty and we left content. The gentleman who served our table was kind. Would love to go back for another brunch. View all feedback.
What Kaci Harris doesn't like about 7 West Cafe:
Nice atmosphere but it’s definitely overpriced for the food quality. We ordered pork ribs, penne pasta and spaghetti and all of them were very dry and flavourless. But the portions were HUGE. We ended up taking half of them home.We were there at 7pm on Monday and going to pizza originally but the server said their pizza were unavailable. But in the middle of our dinner, we saw other group of table was having pizza. N... View all feedback.
I enjoy dining at one of the few 24-hour restaurants in downtown Toronto. The atmosphere is quiet and dark, making it perfect for a relaxing late dinner. I always order the burgers here, with my favorites being the pulled pork and bacon mushroom burgers.
This charming restaurant, spread across three floors, offers a unique dining experience. The narrow and steep staircases add to the charm, though they can make it a challenge for servers carrying food and plates. The food was delicious, particularly the pasta with vegetables and chicken served with a tasty but slightly thin ailioli sauce. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, with the first and third floors being the most comfortable. While the second floor can get hot, the overall experience is enjoyable. The prices are reasonable, with excellent house wines available, though a 5 ounce glass may be a bit pricy at $12. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would gladly return. The quiet ambiance allows for easy conversation, a refreshing change from the bustling restaurants in the Bloor Street Area.
During our stay in the area, we discovered 7 West through an online search. We ended up going there several times. We tried the 7 West sampler, which was delicious and included hummus, cheese, olives, tomatoes, and pita bread. On our other visits, we enjoyed the cheesecake, a sandwich, and the soup, all of which were tasty. We also appreciated that the restaurant is open 24/7.
It's quite difficult to spot this Cafe. So you need to be alert even while using your GPS else you would be running around in circles.<br/ <br/ Ambience is dark. Their setup keeps getting cosier as you move up with each floor.<br/ Music isn't too loud, so you can chit chat with your buddies.<br/ <br/ My friends had been recommending me to try their pastas on my first visit I tried their Penne chicken pasta. The serving size was humongous and I think it could have been shared amongst 2.<br/ <br/ Pasta was fresh and so was the chicken. I had a good time in my first visit and this was definitely a place I wanted to visit again. <br/ <br/ On my next visit, I tried their Chicken sandwich. I was a bit disappointed with it. The bread was not fresh. The chicken was not juicy. The accompanying fries were more like wedges. I liked them. But what stole the show was the dessert, Belgian dark chocolate cake. It was served along with vanilla ice-cream and I totally loved it. <br/ <br/ After a mixed bag of experiences, I would still recommend the place. Will drop by again. <br/ <br/
A cozy place that's almost hidden among the buildings. We stumbled upon this accidentally and it turned out to be pretty good. Has 3 floors of seating and every floor gives a different experience ! We also learnt that they are open 24*365 days!!! The price is on the higher end but the portions are good and the staffs are friendly.
