Took my son here for our weekly mom and son dinner - he is 6 - he enjoyed the interesting interior and the portion size was perfect for him - the dessert is amazing and the eggplant parmesan was so well prepared - not oily not soggy not crispy - just right - have visited here before for Winterlicious and would definitely go back again. What Dolores Mante doesn't like about 7 Numbers:
We went to seven numbers this evening for dinner and was very disappointed. We were a group of 10 people. They would not allow us to have separate bills. At the end of the dinner we had to spend time dividing up the bill. The calamari was terrible. It was not crispy but very soggy. The meat balls and eggplant were excellent. The fish special was very bland. We found the food much better at the Danforth location. View all feedback.
First time to this restaurant and we won't be back. The charcuterie board was good but lacking in variety. The gnocchi was bland, the cod was over cooked and the expresso was undrinkable. Service was pleasant and efficient which saved our visit. Would not recommend this spot.
What a delicious Italian food! The pasta is fresh, that it melts in your mouth! The meat is soft and super tasty. The sauces also super tasty! The staff is incredible and friendly. The ambient is a small spot that makes you feel home, cozy, intimate. Love it and will be coming back!
Won a giveaway to 7numbers and went with my family! Had a great time! Decor was nice and the restaurant has a very homey feel to it. Very large selection of different dishes and drinks as well. Restaurant was a bit hard to spot since their sign is a bit small but service and food was good. Is a bit pricey though. There is complimentary bread and sanitizer as well. For the food, I tried the lobster linguine $36) and the flourless chocolate almond-flour cake 7.25). I also had a brief taste of their meatballs $22) and their lamb chops $26). The lobster linguine was good. I enjoyed both the lobster and the spaghetti but didn't find either particularly standout-ish. The almond flour cake was very good and chocolatey if you like sweet foods. The meatballs were pretty underwhelming as it was literally just large meatballs and didn't seem to be very unique. However, I really enjoyed the lamb chops. Overall, although I did enjoy the food, I didn't think it was particularly special and was a bit pricey despite not being so. Don't know if I'd come back but definitely enjoyed my experience!
Best Lasagna in the city (dethrones Bologna Pastifico in my opinion). You can get a hot or frozen lasagna to go that is just as good at home. All pasta is freshly made. The sauce is the perfect amount of sweetness and consistency, and is basic made with great tomatoes. They have this parmigiano/romano/gran padano grated cheese blend that they sprinkle on the pasta that elevates everything. The unique offering is the secondi menu with some classics that you don't see around other italian places anymore (ie. scallopini limone, eggplant parmigiano, ossobuco). Service is great at the Eglinton location, haven't been to the Danforth one yet. The patio at Eglinton is really nice in the summer.
Always the place to be with 2 locations midtown. This one is original one and the pasta is always made fresh. Can't go wrong with Italian food here. Love their pasta and meat dishes.
