Growing up as a child in the area since the '80 's, I 'm happy to report the halibut and chips is still excellent. The batter is light and the fish is moist and flaky. Just keep in mind that everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait a little bit. I don 't mind the wait knowing that it 'll be ready to eat at its best. View all feedback.
En, it cost me only $12 for one halibut fish and chips here... I can't find any cheaper place around, fish fresh butter ok , you can't get more, great store for fish &chips!
Had to do my part for these guys since I knew the org owners. Food is still great. I compare quality to St Andrews. They are equally as good, but St. Andrews has an actual restaurant atmosphere! But To Go hey are cheaper and taste is on par
The halibut was beautifully fried. I liked the firm texture of the fish – It was not at all mushy, as it can be at some other places. The batter was light and flavorful enough on its own without warranting the necessity to drown it in tartar sauce
Great fish and chips in the middle of nowhere style strip mall amidst a highly residential area in Scarberia ... I don't know why ppl complain about pricing when we're just coming out of/grappling with a pandemic. support your local small business if anything. while the fries didn't seem fresh cut it was a perfect example of how to do them so they're nice n crispy. also the tartar sauce was very yummy (seemed homemade)
