The staff is nearly all family members, and it shows as they have interest in your stay and comfort. The room was cleaned each day to a high standard. The most spectacular view from the room and balcony was the standout attraction. This was our 3rd stay. The bus stops right outside the hotel, and a winding trail behind the hotel will take you to the ferry in the town of Torno. The hotel restaurant serves a 4 star menu with a wide selection of choices including local fish, local produce, and local wine.

The service was simply ex... read more I dined with friends at the hotel's lake-view restaurant. The dishes were exceptional, tasty, and well-balanced, presented with style. The service was simply excellent and exudes a noble hotel tradition that is hard to find these days. I can't review the rooms, having not been there, but the restaurant was a truly pleasant surprise. Probably the best I've visited on Lake Como.
