beautiful mixed kebab, excellent quality quantity. my partner had cajau, fishcake, broken sausage chips. the cod was astonishing, a pigworst, which tasted like a pigworst. a fish cake to die, and the chips were perfect chips were 't overcooked and not greasy. why it took so long to be a first class chippy in pontypool. keep the good work, you make a fantastic job. the only thing I would suggest, please introduce them... I won't be returning to this restaurant. It was my first time visiting, and we ordered the typical family meal of fish, chips, sausages, and curry. The chips were pale, soggy, and tasted like old oil. The fish was mediocre, the sausages were passable, but the curry sauce was terrible. The worst fish and chips I've ever had. The only thing that was good was the Irish curry sauce, which was served in a small portion meant for kids, despite us ordering a large. Disgusting and overpriced. I will never be returning to this restaurant.
I always order food from Horseshoe Fish Bar and it's always delivered on time. The food is still hot and very delicious. In fact, the food is stunning. I absolutely love the battered pineapple rings, they are so scrumptious, especially with Chinese curry sauce.
Went to the horse shoe from work yesterday i stayed in the car partner went in, large fish an chiips cooked fresh, got it home 5 mins down the road, the batter was so thick and wet, i asked who was cooking, i new its wasn't gaz! Disappointed massively, couldn't eat the batter,
Just had the best piece of battered cod ever from the Horseshoe this evening. It was cooked to perfection.
