The Babbacombe Royal Carvery - Torbay

We dined at the restaurant during a busy Sunday carvery. Despite not having a reservation, they quickly found us a table and allowed us two hours to enjoy our meal before the next reservation. The majority of the waitstaff were young but still provided excellent service, being attentive, professional, and friendly. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of vegetables to choose from, as well as four different types of roast meats. It seems they also offer a carvery on other days of the week, although the selection may not be as extensive. The owner and management team, including the head chef, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially as I had my 91-year-old mother in a wheelchair with me. I would love to visit every Sunday, but my waistline and budget would not be happy about it. Overall, a delightful experience.

This is the best Sunday roast we have ever had! We just can't get enough and will keep coming back as often as we can. Huge thanks to everyone at the restaurant. Until next time!

The staff are great helpful, kind and friendly. The food is excellent, lots of choice and lots of it. The place is clean and worth going back.

Amazing one of the best carvery we've had. Plenty of staff all very friendly. The carvery was delicious with plenty of choice of vegetables. Help yourself portions. Even the gravy was fabulous. The roasters were definitely home made just like my gran used to make. Lucky to have a table with an amazing Seaview. Will return and definitely recommend

I had an amazing lunch with great quality food, reasonable prices, and generous portions. I was so full that I struggled to finish my meal. The staff provided excellent service, and even our Maltipoo enjoyed the gammon. Thank you!
