The service is friendly, and the food is top-notch, from high-quality fresh sandwiches to warm scones. The owners, who took over the establishment in January 22, are dedicated to making it a success and ensuring guests have a wonderful time. The quaint tea garden setting adds to the overall ambiance. While some guests had minor issues like parking and table availability, the majority of visitors had a lovely experience and would recommend it to others. Overall, Weavers Cottage is a lovely place for a delicious cream tea and warm hospitality.
Went to Weavers Cottage today with my family to have a late celebration for my birthday. I had a high tea which was lovely and my family had other various items off the menu. All the food was lovely and beautifully served. The gentleman who was serving was very helpful and efficient and it was service with a smile. We are local to Torquay but it was our first time visiting Weavers cottage but it won’t be our last. Lovely outdoor setting that is covered with heaters and we even had a visit from a little robin on the back of one of our chairs. Lovely little lunch stop.
Wonderful lunch and then a walk around the very beautiful Cockington Park, enjoyed it so much we came back for afternoon tea.
Lovely find opposite Cockington Forge. A light lunch of a cheese sandwich and a ploughmans; sandwich is served with crisps and a little salad with a lovely dressing. The food was very fresh despite coming quickly. Prepared for the rain (large umbrella put up whilst we were there), very clean and professional.
Went here today with my boyfriend and had a lovely lunch. The setting is beautiful, and has a lovely atmosphere. We ordered jacket potato and it came with lots of filling, salad and coleslaw and tasted delicious. We then couldn’t help but have a fruit scone to share after seeing how appetising they looked. This came with cream and raspberry jam, which was the best scone I have ever had! It was so fresh and was served warm and the homemade raspberry jam was amazing, will definitely be returning!
Absolutely perfect place on a sunny April afternoon. Service was excellent, food was great and our dog was given free treats too. Such a beautiful spot, we loved the toilets tooDefinitely recommend when in Cockington, we will be back! Love from Brixham
