Sprat And Mackerel Inn - Torbay

I had lunch. outdoor full smoker. in very loud music, but no atmosphere. lunch, good for the price compared to others, but felt bad quality fundamental ingredients. scampi more like scampi paste in brotkrümel. looking for a saving gnade beer not bad...(6x) and barman very friendly and welcoming.

Having recently moved to Brixham trying out the local independent public bars. Immediately made to feel welcomed by Hannah, attentive but not intrusive friendly service. Brilliant quay side location with great views. Great beer and ciders at great prices. Would rather give my competitively priced...pint to this independent than a national brand. Dog friendly. Will definitely return.

Decent bar in sea front location, very friendly service and locals. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in here as the toilets were absolutely dire, like a scene out of trainspotting but with no lights working! Shame really as we would have spent...a lot more time here had it not been for the toilet situation, if they correct this I'm sure a lot more people would come and spend a lot longer there.

Big shame, fab location, could be a fab pub, very dirty tables outside, sticky under foot inside, toilets disgusting.......Big shame could be wonderful.....!

I enjoyed thoroughly the experience with the new owners of the sprat and mackerel, they were friendly and enthusiastic and were looking forward to being a successful traditional style pub.the beers and shorts on offer were of a high standard,good luck for the future and...see you again soon ,when I am down in Devon.
