What a lovely establishment! I frequent this place often for drinks or meals and I can't get enough of it. The atmosphere is very tranquil and the surroundings are pleasant. While the food may not be outstanding, it is definitely delicious. View all feedback.
What Barry W doesn't like about Redcliffe:
This hotel is in such a wonderful position, offers a very good bar menu, but employing a bar girl who couldn 't mix a **** Mary, saying 'we don 't usually do cocktails here '! It isn 't! It 's a drink that any bar person should know how to serve, let alone in a good quality hotel! My wife had to instruct her how to mix it! My recommendation is go to a Wetherspoons bar they know how to mix a good one and at half the p... View all feedback.
It was my 92 year old aunt's choice because she like the heated swimming pool-amazing for her age but then she was Yorkshire born and bred. On the face of it the other guests are rather senior in their years with crutches or mobility scooters. Yet the restaurant and bar are breezy and full of happy people while the views over the sea are super. We had a lightish Sunday lunch and aunty got some useful points on her loyalty card while the beverages revealed evidence of a good cellar master. Try it and see for your self but watch out for the golden wedding parties.
Our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel.we had the same room 107.small but perfectly formed, only downside, the beds could do with updating in quality, they are on castors and easily slide, mattress could be better quality, having said i slept well.food is of a higher standard and plentifull.varied choice and well cooked, all the staff i found to be polite and friendly, especially tyrone, daniel, and abbigail in the restuarant nothing was too much trouble.love this hotel with all its nooks and crannies.went swimming every day, entertainment in the main also good.hope to return again soon.choose a balcony sea view room.wonderfull views out to sea
We booked into this hotel restaurant one saturday night after seeing this 5 course set meal.Very impressed at the choice of courses with silver service a wonderful restaurant with a great view sitting by the window.Service was first class and nothing too much trouble for them and we didnt have to wait too long between courses.we will going back for definate.
Sunday lunch is available to non residents. As a resident, I can recommend the meals, but they're quite expensive £22 but good value for the money.
Was here for a wedding and I have to say the food and service was of the highest standard cannot fault it in anyway, really enjoyed it.
