This small cafe/restaurant is a beautiful and refreshing alternative to the dull food available nearby. The dishes were presented beautifully and the staff provided friendly and personal service. I recommend sitting inside in the cool air conditioning, away from the front doors where locals might rush in. View all feedback.
What FelineFriend5 doesn't like about Maisons Coffee Shop:
I popped in for a slice of apple pie and a coffee, the guy Behind the Counter was quite rude and short and was more interested in talking on his phone, and the apple pie was pretty grim, the top was cooked nicely and it looks lovely but the apple and the pastry underneath were completely uncooked in fact the pastry on the bottom of the plate stuck to the plate because it was raw , completely inedible , and at a price... This cafe is friendly, unpretentious, and perfect for families. The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable.

The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The portion sizes were larger than anticipated, but the food was nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant had air conditioning, which was appreciated on a hot morning.
My sister and I visited this restaurant yesterday and enjoyed coffee and a snack. We were warmly welcomed by a delightful young woman at the door and seated at a window table where we could people watch. The place was spotlessly clean and followed all Covid guidelines. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were all very kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The scones in the Devon cream tea were extremely dry, and the cream resembled butter more than clotted cream. The interior of the restaurant appeared outdated and run down, as if it hadn't been renovated since the 1970s. The toilets were also very dirty, with mold growing on the walls. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place.
