What preston024 doesn't like about Lily's And Tea Rooms:
Rude disinterested staff. Slow snails pace service. Staff openly laughing and gossiping about customers. Unsavoury looking kitchen in need of a deep clean. Food not great. Small portions for the price. Lacking atmosphere. An unwelcoming and uncomfortable feel. Dismal. Hated it. I wouldn't go again. View all feedback. What Justagirl likes about Lily's And Tea Rooms:
We visited this restaurant earlier in the year and again this week while on vacation in the area. The breakfast was outstanding - we paid £20 for two generous breakfasts (including high-quality bacon and sausages), a choice of skinny or chunky chips for my husband, a j20 drink, and a tea. The value for money was incredible! The lady who owns the restaurant is delightful and even remembered us from our previous visit. View all feedback.

read moreLily's Restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. While some found the service quick and the food delicious, others described the staff as disinterested and the portions small. The atmosphere was said to be lacking, with some customers feeling unwelcome. Despite these negative aspects, the cream tea was highly recommended by some for its quality and affordable price. Overall, Lily's offers traditional charm and friendly service, making it a hit with the older generation. However, those looking for a more modern dining experience may want to look elsewhere.
