I decided to give this place a second chance and was pleasantly surprised by the large, delicious full English breakfast. I couldn't find any faults and highly recommend it. I consider myself somewhat of an expert on English breakfasts in Torquay and beyond, and this place definitely delivers in every aspect of a full English breakfast. Stopped for a cuppa and cake mid aftetnoon, the gentleman was friendly and helpful explaining how to order etc.We didnt have a baguette but the choices were vast and looked tempting and fresh. The woman serving at the till made me feel as though i was an inconveneince when i asked the difference between small and large fizzy (can or bottle). Nice choice of cakes, most pre-packed. Excellent customer service and my breakfast and hot drink quickly arrived what everyone wants! the presentation was great, although the purchase of high quality food would make this a 5-star review, some items of my breakfast lacked taste that was a scandal. cheap and cheerful, beautiful clean toilet for customers. 1x small breakfast and a cup of tea for one under £8!
I had heard from my daughter well while waiting in the city to get my hair cut and bart trimmed, I thought I would go. I'm sure my daughter wasn't wrong. a medium latte and a roasted ham and cheese sandwich later I was convinced. the place is clean, it has beautiful decoration that someone has thought something and the ladies behind the theke were beautiful. I am sure I am back
Kartoffel with fried mushrooms ei mayo and salat was delicious. bakewell tart was a bit on the dry side and the coffee was very strong but good price and enjoyed my lunch no dinner needed tonight as so full
Good service, pleasant personaltee was good, nice fresh bread.
