What random1001 doesn't like about Brody's Breakfast Bistro Torquay,:
Went there nearly all tables full of dirty dishes, 1 worker and 1 cook , I asked for tables to be cleaned and the girl said when I can get round to it. So we left. Not good for business when your losing customs due to lack of staff and dirty tables. View all feedback.
What a great place to eat Breakfast Lunch Dinner. A great eat as much as you like breakfast buffet. Cannot fault the place. Will Brody's ever open again in Torquay anyone?
Great service Excellent food Fabulous vibe Service is impeccable
So arrived Sunday near lunchtime started to fill plates with available items...no bacon....chef stated 15 minute wait for bacon.....so what are we to do....put back the food already on our plates....surely best to mention it at the point you saw us pick up first item if not before.....also why would you not start cooking when you noticed bacon running low rather than wait til all gone and then start cooking it.....so we paid 12 quid for a partial breakfast and by the time it was ready we had finished our meal. Useless. As for the decor they obviously think it 's edgy , personally I find it scruffy....rust is not decorative to me and the seats are extremely uncomfortable. Won 't be going back, sadly it 's only saving grace are the thin sausages which are very tasty, the black pudding was inedible as cooked to a crisp, the hash browns were cheap bought versions and the eggs were so overcooked there was no yolk running. All in all extrely.poor value for money. Shame because the entry staff were friendly and chatty. This used to be such a great place but since a change of chef, definately gone down hill
Ok for what it is, like a war bunker cramped and the service is poor, nothing like the Exeter one.
