What a delightful experience! This place is filled with charming details that create an authentic '50s diner atmosphere, from the music to the flooring, booths, and tables. The menu is quite extensive, offering Angus burgers, chicken, onion rings, fries with various seasonings, numerous ice cream-based desserts, salads, and even a few cocktails. The service was friendly, our food arrived promptly, and it was absolutely delicious! The place was also impeccably clean! According to the staff, this is a Kansas-only chain. I'm so glad we decided to try it out!
This is a fun spot to check out, with plenty to admire on the walls. The neon lighting adds a great vibe. The staff is friendly and helpful. There’s an extensive variety of food options available. The food was decent and met expectations. However, the floor was sticky, and some parts of the venue could use a little upkeep.
Another excellent visit to a wonderful Spangles location! We dined there on Sunday evening, choosing a spot on the west side of the dining area with the large round tables, allowing our whole family to sit together. It would be nice if there were blinds that could be lowered. The food is consistently fantastic! The cool retro decor adds a really fun touch.
Great concept overall. I really appreciated that the kids' meal included a large Oreo ice cream sandwich, and the 50's theme with the music added a fun touch. However, the burgers could be much better—the meat patties tasted frozen and rubbery with little flavor. If they used freshly made smashburgers seasoned well with salt, pepper, or other spices, it would be almost perfect. On the plus side, the freshly sugared mini donuts were delicious, and the caramel sauce on the side was, in my opinion, the best dipping sauce. One improvement they definitely need is fixing the air conditioning, as it was uncomfortably hot in the dining area.
While traveling through Topeka, I discovered this restaurant through a Google search for nearby dining options. The place has a charming '50s theme, adorned with photos and memorabilia from that era, including a life-sized Elvis statue as the centerpiece. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We each ordered a $5.95 special that included a hamburger, fries, a drink, and a Mudslide—a delightful treat featuring vanilla ice cream coated in hard chocolate with various toppings to choose from. Yum!

The service was great. We ate in. The fries were hot and fresh, crispy mmm. The #11's mushroom and swiss was the same and a waffle cone sweet and refreshing for desert. They have changed from a single patty to two but still 1/3 pound.
Spangles is a fantastic place to visit! The walls are decorated with intriguing artwork, and the neon lighting adds to the vibrant ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the food was tasty and met my expectations. On the downside, the floor was sticky, and some parts of the venue could use a bit of upkeep.
What a wonderful experience! This restaurant truly embodies the authentic '50s diner vibe with its music, booths, and tables. The menu is varied, offering Angus burgers, chicken, onion rings, fries with optional seasonings, a range of ice cream desserts, salads, and even a selection of cocktails. The service was warm and welcoming, our food was served quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was also spotless! According to the staff, this is a local chain just in Kansas. I'm so glad we decided to give it a try!
Super cool concept. Lovely that the children's meal comes with a big oreo ice sandwich and loves the 50s theme and music. It would be much better if the meat on their burgers was not the frozen rubber goods like patties without taste. If they actually made smashburgers with enough salt and pepper or some other spices to be delicious, it would be almost perfect. They also had fresh sugared mini donuts that were really good and the caramel sauce on the side was the best diving sauce in my opinion. It would also help if they fixed their air conditioning because it was extremely hot and unpleasant in the dining room.
Another great example of a fantastic Spangles restaurant! We ate there Sunday evening. We were on the west side of the dining room where the big round tables are, so our entire family could sit together. It would have been nice to have blinds that could be lowered. They always have great food! Seeing all the cool retro deco is pretty neat.
