The food was tasty, but as other reviewers mentioned, it is unique. For instance, they do not serve chips and salsa. The horchata is expensive at $3.25 and I was not offered a refill. The prices overall seem on the higher side. I ended up spending $21 for lunch! In general, it seems like the restaurant is aiming for a more upscale Mexican cuisine experience. If I could leave no stars, I would. Worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in my life and I love Mexican food! Only Mexican restaurant I've ever been to that didn't have chips and salsa. In fact, they had no red salsa at all, only a green sauce. A cook said it was green chile but the waitress said creamy guacamole sauce. Only queso had chorizo and I can't eat that. Fantastic food and drinks! super authentic and a hidden gem safe. in contrast to any other restaurant in the city. if you didn't try it, it's a must
We tried dinner here on Tuesday and it was phenomenal! Our waiter was so kind and attentive, and answered all of our questions. We can’t wait to be back, my only “complaint” is the menu was so good it was hard to decide on one dish!
Fist time back in person since COVID started crazy to think it’s been that long but as usual, these guys are on the ball. The food is awesome and the staff is even better. Highly recommend.

Excellent!!!!. So different from the ordinary. This is Mexican like I’ve never had before. Fresh and DIFFERENT. I can’t remember the name of what I had but it was something like the Alameda- Hawaiian. Wow! Excellent. I’m making this a frequent stop when I visit Topeka.
