I thought we'd be able to avoid the crowds, but instead, there... read more First of all, what was I thinking? Traveling with a large family of seven kids on Christmas Day? I thought we'd be able to avoid the crowds, but instead, there were none. It was eerily quiet—almost apocalyptic. Every business was closed, and the only restaurant open was Denny's. When we arrived, we requested a table for nine and, as expected, found out we’d have to wait about an hour. So we had a clever idea to check our route and call the nearest Denny's about an hour ahead for takeout. We placed an order for nine cheeseburgers, fries, and drinks to be ready in an hour. The staff there was incredibly friendly and helpful. The meal turned out to be perfect! Those were the best burgers we've ever had—there's something about hunger that makes food taste even better. Thank you, Denny’s, for being open on Christmas Day!

It took an hour for our food to arrive, but the server was incredibly friendly throughout our wait. The food was delicious, and to top it off, she gave us a discount for the long wait. I would definitely recommend this place for a casual breakfast spot at 3 o'clock.

Although the white gravy on the chicken fried steak was a bit thin, the chicken, bacon, and ranch sandwich was the best I’ve had in a long time. Our waitress was very attentive, and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely return!

I loved her energy and her attention to detail. Drinks stayed full, checked on us but didnt check too much. Even remembered the dessert I wanted to order after the meal when I forgot. Stellar. Atmosphere was mostly quiet. It picked up a little but then It quieted down again. Lighting was perfect In our booth. It was cool so a nice difference from outside. The food fell short. I had chicken strip meal and my husband had chicken fried chicken. Everything else was okay but the fried chicken parts were overcooked and lightly burned. Seemed that the fryer may have been set a bit high or they just accidently got left in too long. These things happen and we know this place is great most nights as we used to come here in our youth around thst hour after work every week. And every crew has always been amazing. Just wasnt a great night for fried chicken. I will still be returning in the future. One rough night does not erase years of great food and service.
