Chef's Crazy Tasty Chicken - Topeka

This was a gem that we found while passing through Topeka, KS. We wanted to experience local Fried Chicken! This was it! So good, and the locals lively conversation cracked me up as I sat and waited for my fresh cooked fried chicken to get done! I recommend making the stop if you are ever through Topeka!

My husband and I love to go to local places to eat we tried crazy tasty chicken right after it opened up and had the best chicken tenders I've ever had period since then I've had naked chicken wings that are really good and my all-time favorite is fried catfish. The two gentlemen who own this restaurant know how to cook, and this is coming from someone whose husband is a chef. I would recommend it to anybody anytime. There's not a lot of setting there is a picnic table outside but it is not a fast food restaurant he makes everything fresh when you order it it is well worth the wait. And you will be highly entertained by the guys who own it.

Fantastic food and fantastic people! I would highly recommend stopping here, it's an experience you must have. So glad we found it!

Just moved into the neighborhood and kept passing this place. Decided to give it a try tonight. OMG! First of all, the staff is wonderful! Very friendly and really enjoy what they do. We only live 2 blocks away, but wanted to open up the bag before we got home! LOL! The chicken was hands down the best I've had! Also had the fried potatoes, coleslaw (Yum! And the pork and rice. I about ate the whole container of pork and rice while standing over my sink! My gosh! Just a wonderful place. We will be back often!!! Thank you!!! :
