Veraison - Tootgarook
Veraison
Description
**Dining Delight on the Peninsula**
The Peninsula restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, with diners divided over their fine dining experience. While dish highlights include exceptional pork belly, scallops, and beautifully presented desserts like crème brûlée, some meals like the prawn linguine fell short of expectations. Decor remained a point of contention, with many suggesting an update is due. Service varied from attentive to needing improvement, but the welcoming atmosphere and commendable wine selection generally impressed patrons. With affordable pricing and a commitment to local produce, many guests expressed a desire to return, contributing to its growing reputation on the Mornington Peninsula.

I had an amazing dinner last night at this charming little restaurant. The scallops and the goat cheese soufflé were delightful, but the aerated parfait truly stole the spotlight. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!
'Art-on-a-plate ' Amazing food, fabulous witty charming staff owners with reasonable pricing for their food. Local produce done suberbly. We chose to eat here by other reviews from Sydney but was blown away by how the food tastes flowed together. Totally unexpected, awesome, best restaurant we have experienced. J S
One of the best if not the best meals we’ve had in Victoria. The service was impeccable and the food and drink was exceptional from start to finish. Beginning with a glass of bubbles, the seafood linguine to start, both steak options for main and the crème brûlée and pears for dessert. We will 100% be back and we will be recommending all our friends to go visit. Jamie and Lindsey
Beautifully prepared food in a relaxed seaside setting. The scallops are to die for! The desserts are lovely. Don't miss the hazelnut ice-cream and poached pears! If you are on the Mornington Peninsula give Veraison a try! You won't be disappointed.
Last minute booking accommodated for us tonight by the lovely host. Beautiful restaurant with absolutely the best food on the peninsula. Duck entree and main were both mind blowing. Snapper main was delicious and desserts were both very well presented. The servers were kind and respectful. We realised when we left that this was the same restaurant previously located in the BlueStone winery and had appeared on various good food magazines as a top recommendation. Appears they have moved but food is still great!
