Golden Prawn Seafoods & Take Away

The restaurant is in a great location but I had a bad experience after eating the potato scallops. The calamari was average, the fish was okay, but the scallops were the worst I have ever had. I regret eating them and will be going to Saviges' from now on.

We ordered potato cakes, dim dims and chips. The food was terrible! We tried, but actually couldn't eat the potato cakes, they were so over cooked and absolutely oozed oil! The chips weren't much better and left a horrible after taste. My husband took the potato cakes back and nicely informed the girl serving that they were actually inedible, the girl simply stared at him and didn't say a word. Needless to say, we will never return there again.

We ordered takeaway for Father's Day and unfortunately, the quality was well below average. The Barramundi we ordered did not seem to be actual Barramundi and the chips were cold and undercooked. This was a big disappointment compared to our previous experiences at this restaurant. Hopefully, it was just a result of poor preparation for the Father's Day rush.

As pomes visiting Aussie family we found this place near the sea on the island. Wonderful staff and great freshly made food.

Purchased crumbed Flathead overcooked,dry unedible,should learn how to cook fish.Long waiting time,no social distancing.
