I was in this farm thanks to a smartbox that included two nights, two breakfasts and a dinner x two people. Already from the call it seemed to me that the owner, Mr. Paolo, was friendly and kind person: so then it turned out. We were delivered the room, spacious and well-kept with a balcony that allowed a very beautiful view on the Asian hills(a flaw: there is no TV . Breakfast with salami and cheese of the area (goods!!! plus homemade jams and two delicious cakes!!!! The dinner consisted of two appetizers (1- tomini with green bath and chilli sauce and fruit.....splendidi! 2- bottle of vegetables with tomato sauce, very good. The first dish was agnolotti filled with meat with butter and sage.... very good!! Then the second was roasted with purée and cauliflowers (maybe the least good dish . for sweet a bonnet and a salami of chocolate. All watered by a good red wine First!!!! Honestly a good dinner!!! Needless to repeat that our stay, although short, was very positive. Council
My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant during a we spent in the same facility. Dinner was pleasant and the owner very helpful. We could taste their wines, really great. She definitely deserves a visit.
Sometimes you make such a useless road, when a few steps from Moncalvo you can find this beautiful culinary reality, genuine and with a very friendly welcome. To celebrate an occasion we chose this facility for a quiet dinner I feel to recommend it. As an appetizer we chose a choice of raw meat tastings and for the accuracy raw meat with burrata and anchovies, raw meat with hazelnut oil, and raw meat with caramelized chives, to follow, Gnocchi al Castelmagno, then stewed wild boar and to conclude a nice sweet, crumbled with Zabaione barbera barricato. For the wines we were recommended on a wine of the area. Nice and cosy premises with a pleasant internal temperature. Absolutely to try for those who, like us, love occasionally to discover new traditional flavors.
We arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted with kindness by the manager who with a nice red fleece, a hairstyle and white bum catapulted us in a warm and hospitable pre-natal atmosphere.
