At the entrance you are greeted by 4/5 tables, a quantity that suggests the take-away vocation of the place. You can choose between multiple types of courses, from Hamburgers to Burritos, including Poke, with special ingredients. I personally chose a Porco Giuda Burger, which I would recommend due to the nice combination of flavors between the ingredients. The only flaw is the bread, which is too small in size to allow for adequate grip without getting all sloppy. For two, for two burgers, an appetizer and two drinks, you spend the right amount. I promote Becheri with top marks, at least in his category. Special mention for the musical choice: I entered with Ambitionz Az A Ridah ​​by 2Pac and left with M.a.a.d. City by Kendrick Lamar, passing through a slew of West Coast Hip Hop that would be the envy of a club in Los Angeles. Chapeau!

It was raining so we squeezed inside to be greeted by the super friendly staff who were quick to rearrange customers to seat us all together. And nobody minded. The menu items were 'American ' style in name only. Italians know food, and the cooks in this restaurant know how to make American food 1 million times better than you 'll ever find it in the US. Hamburgers and pastrami sandwiches never tasted so good. If you 're in Asti and looking for a great lunch, find this plate. The owner might even give you pieces of their incredible cheese cake to try as he did with us.

I am an Australian (by way of England) living in Italy and I really struggle sometimes when I am sick of eating traditional Italian food and really want a good burger/sandwich/etc. The Italians, with the exception of big cities like Milano, just don't really know how to do a good NY-style burger and sandwiches with anything except ham, ham, ham are a pretty foreign concept here. Becheri is the exception. THE BURGERS HERE ARE THE BEST, super creative, and with an Italian/local Piedmont twist. I would recommend the Asti burger, which has local beef and combines truffle essence and a hazelnut cream (two important local ingredients). I've also had a salad, which was good too. My boyfriend loves the chicken burgers. Along with the great food, service is top, the location is good and the overall furnishing is super cute. I love the Smeg fridge, which is self-service for drinks. They also speak good English (or accept bad Italian)! One of my favourite places in Asti for lunch. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for the occasional splurge. Life is too short not to eat great burgers!
