What misslambx likes about The Orchards Cafe:
We have visited this restaurant a few times now for coffee and cake. The homemade cakes are excellent value for money, usually costing between £1-£1.50. My daughter had a large baguette, which was reasonably priced, and we also enjoyed the apple juice that is made on-site. While the restaurant has a staff cafe atmosphere, they are welcoming to all visitors and it's a great place to relax with family and friends. We w... View all feedback. What Keith F doesn't like about The Orchards Cafe:
I was also seduced by the ad in the free magazine. Went there at approx. 2pm today.I did not find the ramp mentioned in other reveiws .Sat in chair at top of steps for ten minutes while a young lady walked out with rubbish bags and then walked back , ignoring me both times. I eventually gave up and left. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant, located in a Research Institute, offers a limited but varied menu including roast, vegetarian options, sandwiches, and cakes. The meals were reasonably priced, and there was a salad bar available for an extra cost. The café offers a friendly atmosphere, self-service options for cutlery and sauces, and a clean environment. While the coffee could be hotter and the café closes early, the homemade cakes and great prices make it a popular spot. Additionally, the breakfast menu received positive reviews and the café is a hidden gem that is worth a visit.
Not widely known that this great caffe is open for publicity. good eating friendly staff. so close to kents renowned research gardens.
Had a classic full English breakfast for a business networking event. beautiful environment with inherited apples for research grow. the apple juice was great!
