Gorgeous coffee shop serving the best coffee we've had in a while and a very delicious Croque Madame. The decor, location, staff, atmosphere and food/drink were all perfect. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What lbj17 doesn't like about 65mm Coffee:
We hadn’t been before, but had read the TA reviews and thought we would give it a try. We found the place easily enough at the back of the high street, but it wasn’t very obvious how you got into the cafe, as the large doors at the front didn’t open. You enter via what looks like a service yard at the side. View all feedback.
The coffee is fine but the service was awful. Waited 43 minutes for a toasted sandwich. Had to remind the staff twice that we were waiting only to be told it was coming. Last reminder, having waited then 35 minutes, we were then told they were short staffed and only had one chef??? and one grill. We were not told when ordering that there would be such a long delay just for a toasted sandwich. More organisation is needed.
Coffee tasted burnt, bitter and horrid. Actually struggled to drink it. Big shame. Lacking a coffee with flavour. Should look elsewhere.
The coffee has a PH of 2 and would be better used for chemistry experiments. My mum had a horrifically upset stomach and spent a long time on the toilet after that, which she doesn’t usually do with normal coffee. The coffee was worth 3.50 while in Greggs you can drink non scientific experiment coffee for 1.20.

Not much seating for a rainy day but it’s so cozy and lovely inside. I love the cakes and the coffee is wonderful. Delightful
