What User doesn't like about Julio's Mexican Cantina:
since the rebuild seems to have the price increase and the service has fallen. the fajita meeting has developed better. when they sit outside, they expect to fly. View all feedback.
Great place! Wonderful food! One of the best places for authentic Mexican cuisine!
We went in the middle of the day so it wasn't crowded. Service was excellent. The chicken enchiladas were very good and the bacon wrapped shrimps were slightly overcooked. We're definitely going back!
Food very good. Waitstaff on it! Expanded outside for more seating.
Ordered pick up. Both orders were wrong. The tried telling us carnitas is the same as beef. When I got home I noticed They replaced the chalupa with a tostada. I called to talk to a manager to let them know about the issues and they hung up on me(potentially an accident). I'll never order there again.
This review is quite mixed. First of all, the establishment has transitioned from a restaurant to a cantina, and there have been noticeable changes over the past few years. The menu has been updated: some dishes have been removed while others are now more street-style. I've been a regular at Julio's for nearly a decade, and I feel it used to be better. It was once more in line with authentic Mexican cuisine, and now the food seems to be trying to compete with the trendy new spots that have emerged. While the food is still good, time hasn’t favored this place. I’ll continue to visit Julio's since it’s the closest Mexican restaurant, but I really hope it doesn’t continue to change. Just a side note: parking can be limited during busy hours, as the restaurant is quite small. Expect to wait, especially on Sundays. It’s best to arrive before 11 a.m. or after the lunch rush.
