I went to breakfast with my lovely partner. We were quickly seated, given menus, and had our drink order taken within 3 minutes of walking in the door. It was around 7am on a Tuesday, so it wasn't a busy time. We ordered the lumberjack slam and the eggs Benedict. The good news is that everything was delicious. The food was hot, fresh, and cooked just the way we liked. Our server was friendly and attentive. No complaints, 10/10 all around. The only downside was the prices, which seemed a bit high. I understand that there are other costs involved besides just the food, but $25 for two breakfasts is expensive. However, the portion sizes were generous, so sharing a plate would have made it more reasonable.
The restaurant was very well-managed. The floors were clean and there were no dirty tables. The wait staff were friendly and welcoming, with big smiles. Our food was cooked to perfection, hot and fresh. The service by Denny was excellent. Great job!
Our waitress Jay was absolutely fantastic. It was the best service we have ever received! The food was really good, but Jay's service was extra attentive and so sweet. She never missed a beat. I have worked as a manager and server for years, and I can confidently say that she is one of the best! Make sure to ask for Jay when you visit the restaurant.
The hostess also served as our waitress and made it clear that she was not our designated server. Our actual waitress arrived promptly to clear our table. However, when it came time to pay the bill, there was an issue with their system not accepting credit cards and requiring a pin (which was not provided with my card). The staff was unhelpful and unable to offer a solution, causing a backup in line and drawing stares from other customers. Thankfully, a family member was able to come to my rescue with cash.
