The salmon fillet was just okay—lacking flavor and disappointingly small at only 2.5 inches long. I ordered it a la carte to accompany my Caesar salad, which was another letdown because it came without croutons or cheese. I had requested a side of citrus vinaigrette, so I’m not sure why they omitted the Caesar dressing. The chicken fried steak fingers and chicken strips were also frustrating. I ordered them with gravy, but there was none included. The steak fingers were tiny, about the size of my thumb, and both dishes lacked any real flavor with soggy breading. I was really looking forward to dining here based on previous reviews, but unfortunately, we were highly disappointed. Despite having plenty of waitstaff, we waited an excessively long time for drinks from the bar, and when they finally arrived, they were the large size instead of the regular we requested. We ended up sending them back. The waitstaff were noisy, sweeping under nearby tables and making a racket with the broom and dustpan. I didn't notice anyone wash their hands during our visit. I ordered the chicken-fried steak, which came out lukewarm. A manager-type person in pajama pants and a t-shirt stopped by to check on us, and when we expressed our dissatisfaction, she offered to remake our meals. However, neither of us wanted to wait any longer to eat. There's really nothing appealing about Craft Grill. Even if the food were exceptional, I wouldn't consider ordering takeout because it's mediocre at best. The ambiance is outdated, with dim lighting and heavy dark wood decor that seems to attract less discerning customers. Clearly, there's a management issue here, and with so many wonderful dining options available, there's no need to spend your time or money at this place.
