Tried this place for the first time from a recommendation. It was very good. Blackened catfish with crawfish etouffe and gumbo, with some fried shrimp and green beans. Everything was delicious. Service was good. Everyone was very nice. Tried the bread pudding with rum sauce for dessert. Very good. View all feedback.
What Rhon S doesn't like about Cajunville:
The Best Stop boudin was amazing, obviously, but no white bread for a sandwich disappointed this Lafayette girl. Portions were good. Casual atmosphere. Their seafood sauce was thick (odd gel-like texture), but their other sauce was really good with a nice spice to it. I had the fish basket. Their fish wasn't spicy but the sauce made up for that. As a cajun, I'm tough on Cajun restaurants because I expect back home co... View all feedback.
Ate there 4 days ago. I was happy to see Roast Beef Po Boys and the Beef was good, but it isn't a real Louisiana Roast Beef Po Boy. Bread was not bad, no tomatoes, tarter sauce (I would have liked mayo I am used to). My son have catfish and he loved it, hub the Shrimp and he liked his as well. It is pricey, but Po Boy are large. We will try again. No pics because we order to go. .
Amazing food! We really enjoyed the gumbo and catfish Atchafalaya. The staff was really friendly too. You can tell they care. We will be back to try some other stuff.
What a surprise. Just happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to drop in for lunch. Hey Siri, where is the best gumbo I have had since my cousins. Cajunville!
My son, Scottie, and daughter in law, Helen, brought me here this evening and all I can say is.......IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!, and we will be going back for more.......and more.......and, well, you got the picture. If you haven 't tried Cajunville yet, then you really need to do yourself a favor and head on over there right now the sooner, the better. Cajunville is so good, it 's going to be one of my regular eating places in Tomball, ' 'I gha rawn tee! The shrimp was the best I ever had, and very large. Fries were excellent with Blake 's special seasoning. Pinto beans were to die for, and the crawfish etouffee was yummy. Can 't wait for a cold spell so I can chow down on some of that gumbo. Thank you, Blake, for bringing your delicious food to our wonderful Tomball community.
The food is good! The place is very clean and the service is friendly. Order at the countertop, pay, find yourself a seat and they 'll bring your food out to you. The fried shrimp was nice and crispy, full of flavor, and a great size. I had green beans as a side and they were served hot, and did not have that out of the can flavor. Definitely made in house. My boyfriend had a po boy and it was jampacked! It 's large and he only finished half. overall a good experience, we will definitely be returning to this little place. I believe they are dog friendly on the patio, as I did see a couple walk in with two dogs and they sat out in the patio. The dogs did have service dog vest on so I 'm not sure if only service animals are allowed or all dogs. You can always call and ask.
