Last weekend, very nice confortable restaurante, very good service. Very good and tasty local specialities. Açorda de Sável and filetes de Sável are great, Dessert conventual are realy great. Dont miss it.
Good service and great home cooking, nice room, good wine cart, nice deserts definitely worth a visit!
I came to eat in their restaurant within a family reunion of more than 80 people and the whole main room was reserved for us. As such my review regards this event and not the normal day to day experience. We had a fantastic buffet was anti pasta that was quite amazing, followed by another incredible buffet of warm dishes, that was really good. All the principle dishes served on this restaurant were available so that we could try everything. Top, top! After all this food extravaganza we had another fantastic buffet of sweets and fresh fruits. What can i say? Everybody was in heaven with a big fat belly to remind us of all the good things we ate. First class service and food.
On a beautiful place, with magnificente landscape, a place to visit with very good local food, and a good wine chart.
Me and my parents stopped by this place after a friend 's advice. Well, we can say it was a good advice regarding the desserts, They were really, really good. But the rest... not quite. The service was slow and we waited 60 minutes for the meal to arrive. When it finally did, it was average. But we saved the worst for last. When we were paying, we complained to the manager about the waiting time and his response was, literally, I could care less about those comments. ... So... astonished, we payed, we left and we advised our friends, as I advise you right now: beware the awful manager.
