Description

Perched at the west end of Lake Nokomis on Hwy Y, Nokomis Pub Eatery is a casual, family-friendly lakeside pub blending a quirky bar-dining vibe with hearty, affordable fare. Known for an exceptional fish fry (cod likened to 'poor man’s lobster'), standout salmon, sandwiches and lunch specials, it offers cold beer, picnic tables and a large garden with a swing for kids. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and waterfront views make it a must-stop for boaters and groups, though it can be busy and service may slow at peak times.

This is our way to the water. Good food coming right away. Views are phenomenal. Friendly staff and owner. The salmon is a hidden jewel that was cooked big. There is a large garden for children to play with a huge swing.

This was our first visit to Nokomis Pub Eatery and it was a fun. Emily first looked after us with some adult drinks and next to some delicious sandwiches from the lunch menu. Hospitality was real and the food was delicious. Check out Nokomis Pub Eatery at the west end of Lake Nokomis on Hwy Y, we need to visit next time by boat. Give them a visit, I know you will enjoy it.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is truly unique, with a blend of a quantum bar and dining experience. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, almost like they were part of our own family. We brought a party of eight and were able to combine tables to enjoy a wonderful meal together at a reasonable price.

A Friday night here with the family stopped. Inside was a large amount of mask fewer people, but given the location and frequency of CoVID was expected. We sat outside on a picnic table. Most of them ordered the fish fry, cod and walleye. Cold beer. Friendly staff, but busy and slow.

I visited Nokomis Pub on Friday, September 13th, 2019, and had the fish fry, specifically the poor man’s lobster. To my astonishment, it really tasted like lobster! I know it was cod, but I was truly impressed. The service was excellent, the drinks were fantastic, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Nokomis Pub!
