I usually LOVE San Marcos, but I was literally physically ill after my last visit. The food is usually great, but this time I was actually sick the next day and it is challenging getting my pretty specific order correct because many of the workers don't speak fluent English. View all feedback.
The restaurant was pretty good. Margaritas were amazing. The store is where this place really shines. The selection was impressive. The meat counter was top notch. I cooked up some of the thin steaks on my Blackstone today and OMG, I'll be back. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu was not the average kids menu. Food was actually really good.
Insanely busy, like ALWAYS. I get shrimp here for bait...gentleman that works the meat area is weird, in a rude way. I also hate that the raw meat is so close to the dining area of the restaurant. It smells awful.
Usually the service is really good but today the waiter had an attitude totally disrespectful and rude. We ask about the specials and how was the menudo, the answer was arrogant and he ask if this was our 1st time in the restaurant A shame, coming from a Mexican to another
Mexican food at a good price, the service is moderate to good, I do recommend the place
Just bought takeout, they shorted me 3 tacos $9) they don't answer their phone and I live across town. Not a great experience and doubt I would go back.
