Original Sub Shop Deli - Toledo

Absolutely amazing! We took a day trip to Michigan, and on our way home, we got hungry and stumbled upon this place. The atmosphere was wonderful, and there were three lovely ladies working there. The food was excellent. We live two hours away, but we will definitely be returning!

I came across this restaurant online a few times and finally decided to check it out for lunch. It was the best sub I've ever had in Toledo, and one of the best I've had anywhere. I highly recommend this charming little spot. Just make sure to arrive early; they were sold out by 2:00 PM!

The food was absolutely delicious! I felt a pang of sadness when my sandwich was finished—it was that good. Make sure to get your sandwich pressed. The restaurant is located in a charming old building full of character. The staff were friendly and helpful, clearly enjoying their work. And don't forget to grab a cookie if they have them! Freshly made that day, the cookies had crispy edges and a soft interior—definitely one of the best cookies I've ever tasted. This place is a hidden gem that you don't want to miss!

We were in town and looking for a local sandwich spot. This place did not disappoint! Excellent food on fresh bread. If we lived in Toledo, this would easily become a go-to spot! I don't know where to begin! First of all, the staff is absolutely lovely. The Subs are so tasty and I highly recommend the Ruben and a side of Macaroni Salad. They always have the best, fresh bread and melt-in-your-mouth cookies! When you walk in it smells like sweet onion! I also highly recommend the Elderflower Soda... AMAZING. The Original Sub Shop and Deli feels like my home away from home, and that is truly what I love most about it.
