Bob Evans - Toledo

I ordered the country fried steak family meal. The food was lukewarm, the steak was tough, dry, and overcooked. I also ordered a salad, but it was soggy and tasted spoiled. I was very disappointed with my meal. I paid $32.00 and left a $3.00 tip.

My food was hot it is great the lemonade tasted very scrumptious everyone was very kind

There was only one server working and she did an excellent job.

I m so tired of having discussions about why there is no service and why there no cooks and why there are no clean sheets, etc., it’s driving me crazy. Every where my wife and I have gone in the last 24 , 25 months, it’s been excuse after excuse, veiled in the cloak of explanations, that it’s driving me crazy. Could I please have a cup of coffee, 2 eggs over easy with hash brown and ham off the bone and double that for my wife. The one server, looking hollow eyed and baffled said yes you can as soon as our one cook gets to it. She informed us that she only make $4 an hour and she is supposed to supplement that with tips to get to a living wage. I acknowledged that is pretty hard to do with 2 customers an hour. Our food did get to us and given the circumstances, I can’t complain. PEOPLE, PEOPLE…….where has America gone?

Staff are okay, the food is what you would expect at Bob Evans. Not always the cleanest but everything is fine.
